The Bureau of Prolefeed is a daily satirical news publication. We take real headlines from real news sources and rewrite them as satire — not to mock the news, but to say what everyone's already thinking.

Every morning, we read the news. Then we write what it actually means.

Each article is based on real coverage from multiple sources. We always link to the originals. We encourage you to read them, and to support real journalism.

Why "Prolefeed"?

In George Orwell's 1984, "prolefeed" is the meaningless content the government produces to keep people distracted and passive.

We're doing the opposite. We take actual news and strip away the numbness — the bureaucratic language, the buried ledes, the normalized absurdity — to show what's really being said.

The name is a reminder of what we're pushing back against.
