NOIDA — Dispelling alarming rumors that local factory workers were organically dissatisfied with their wages, police announced Tuesday they have uncovered a Rs 1 crore foreign funding network responsible for tricking laborers into asking for better working conditions.
The revelation comes after authorities arrested over 350 individuals during recent labor protests and invoked the stringent National Security Act against two activists. According to officials, the decisive police action has successfully shifted the public focus from the enforcement of basic labor laws to a high-stakes international espionage thriller.
"Our intelligence confirms that without this external meddling, these workers would have remained perfectly content with their current socio-economic reality," said a police spokesperson, noting that investigators have also alleged a 'Pakistan connection' behind the sudden desire for safe factory floors. "The very concept of a living wage is a known anti-national element designed to destabilize our industrial corridors. We are currently investigating an additional Rs 11 crore allegedly used to spread the radical ideology of adequate compensation."
The spokesperson added that to protect the vulnerable workforce from further foreign manipulation, authorities will continue immediately jailing anyone who complains about their pay under national anti-terror legislation.
